We had a really lovely cycling session at Pedalabikeaway with St Roses School on Tuesday 😊 so it was a blessing in disguise that we couldn’t use the Blackbridge track given how hot it was. In the Forest the shady trees and gentle breeze kept everyone safe and having the Changing Places toilet there meant the group could linger over a leisurely picnic lunch after some exciting cycle rides on the family trail 😊.  We’ll be at Blackbridge as usual today Thursday 28th with plenty of water and a gazebo 😎

UPCOMING EVENTS THIS SUMMER!

SUNDAY 1^ST JULY 2018

There will not be any inclusive cycling at Blackbridge Athletics track this weekend – instead on Sunday 1^st July we will be travelling to Cardiff to join the Leonard Cheshire Tour de Cymru at Pedalpower in Cardiff to cycle there and then at the finishing place in Newport Velodrome.

If you would like to come and be a part of this event please contact Mary Clare on 07393 867572 as soon as possible.

NB there will be a small cost towards the transport to Cardiff, Newport and back to Gloucester or Cheltenham.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from Gloucestershire Wheels For All

Inclusive off-road cycling sessions for children from age 5 upwards, adults and older people - with a wide range of abilities.

We have 28 special bikes - wheelchair transporters, recumbent and upright trikes, hand cycles and several companion or side-by-side bikes which can enable wheelchair users, those recovering from illness or injury, those with physical, learning and sensory disabilities, those with dementia or mental health issues, those lacking confidence or simply out of cycling practice to enjoy the activity of cycling.

Sessions re-start this coming Sunday 7th January 2018 from 12.30 to 3.30pm
At the Blackbridge Jubilee Athletics track, Podsmead Road, Gloucester GL2 5AB
During the week there are sessions on Monday afternoons from 13.00 to 16.00
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.00 to 16.00

Carers / helpers / family - free.

Coaching and support given but not 1 to 1 so parents / staff / carers are required to get actively involved with the sessions.
